Xerox multifunction printers sweep up an armful of awards
Xerox had its biggest product launch last year when it released 29 new office multifunction printers in its VersaLink and AltaLink product lines. These new devices carried the latest iteration of Xerox’s award-winning operating system, ConnectKey. The new devices introduced a tablet-like interface for better ease of use, stricter security controls, out-of-the box cloud compatibility and customisable apps and workflows.
The VersaLink and AltaLink collections are a giant leap forward for Xerox’s multifunction print technology, extending the role of the office printer to include productivity, collaboration and cost control. Xerox multifunction printers truly are the workplace assistants that every business needs – proof of this can be found in all the accolades they have collected since their launch. Here are some of the highlights:
CRN gives Xerox top marks
Every year, leading computer reseller trade magazine, CRN, surveys solution providers and gives them an opportunity to grade their vendor partners. The magazine published the results of last year’s survey in its Annual Report Card in which Xerox came out tops in all four subcategories in the Workgroup Colour Printer category. Xerox achieved an overall score of 67.9 points, which was 2.1 points ahead of its closest competitor.
AltaLink C8055 is CRN’s best product pick
Xerox shone once again in CRN’s annual Products of the Year retrospective with the AltaLink C8055 in the printers category. The AltaLink C8055 colour multifunction printer is targeted at mid-sized to large workgroups with all the Xerox features packed into its latest fleet of office printers, including plug-and-play installation and mobile print functionality.
